Disaster Preparedness

Be informed – know your risks for each type of disaster and what protective measures to take

Make a plan –shelter in place vs. evacuation know your evacuation route and have pet friendly destinations where you can stay, have neighbors or family know where supplies are, have “pets inside” stickers for someone else to rescue

Build a kit – 7 day supply including; ID & photos, food & water, medication & medical records, first aid supplies, crates/carriers/leashes/harness/life jackets, blankets &or ice packs, and sanitation supplies. Keep your kit updated.
