Dr. Cordero started as a veterinary technician at Whippany Vet in 2006. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree at Delaware Valley College, she then pursued her dream to become a veterinarian. Dr. Cordero attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and finished her clinical year at Oklahoma State University. After graduating in 2010, she moved back to New Jersey and returned to Whippany Vet to start her career as a veterinarian. Her special interests include: soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, and is currently becoming certified in canine rehabilitation.
Dr. Cordero loves spending her free time with Molly and Goober, her two pets who traveled all the way from the Caribbean, where she adopted them while attending vet school. Dr. Cordero also enjoys hiking, baking, crafting, and spending time with her husband, Alex.
